PARK Module
Design Smarter Wind Farms with Confidence
The PARK module is a very flexible tool for calculating the AEP (Annual Energy Production) for one or more wind farms.
Accurately calculate energy yield, optimize turbine layouts, and simulate real-world performance
Annual Energy Production
Quickly test different layouts with various turbine types and hub heights. Use wind data from METEO or MODEL modules and calculate wind distributions per turbine. Adjust for array losses using PARK, Eddy Viscosity, or EWTS II models. Factor in Ct-curves, wake decay, and forest displacement. Integrate adjusted wind profiles with turbine power curves for precise AEP results.
Time Series or Wind Statistics
Calculate AEP using either wind statistics or time series. Support multiple wind data sources and automatic selection of nearest data. Include calibrated mesoscale data for time-varying analysis, adjusted for local conditions using Scaler.
Neighboring Turbines
Model both existing and planned turbines. Evaluate energy loss caused by new installations to existing turbines. Use production data to calibrate models and analyze performance with the PERFORMANCE CHECK module.
Operation Modes
Assign different turbine settings based on wind, climate, and time. Analyze how operational changes affect wake loss and downstream turbine output. Attribute production impacts to categories like noise reduction or sector management.
Input Data
Design layouts using tools for rows, clones, and distance circles. Use WTG Catalogue or manual input for turbine specs. Seamlessly download terrain and met data, and import turbine locations and production data.
Reports and Time Series
Generate detailed reports including energy analysis, wind data, terrain, power curves, and RIX. Export time series and turbine-specific results for further analysis in external tools like Excel.

Improve the way you plan and optimize your wind farm projects.
From precise energy calculations to complex terrain analysis and operational modes—PARK equips you with the tools to deliver reliable results, fast.
