Vestas Engineers Visit EMD for Workshop on Digital Wind Project Tools
Last week, we had the pleasure of welcoming more than 20 engineers from Vestas NCE and Global Siting to our EMD headquarters in Aalborg for an engaging and insightful workshop focused on digital tools for wind project development.
Throughout the week, we explored a wide range of topics— from advanced turbine optimization to GIS applications, LiDAR integration, and load calculations. The discussions provided valuable insights into both current practices and future directions in wind energy development.
Many of these topics are already shaping the ongoing development of our software solutions, including windPRO. We’re proud that windPRO remains a preferred siting tool for leading companies across the global wind industry.
