Who should attend?
This course is for windPRO users who want to learn shadow flickering assessments (SHADOW module), to create visibility maps (ZVI module), and make photomontages or animations (PHOTOMONTAGE, ANIMATION modules).
Prerequisites
windPRO BASIS course or a good understanding of and experience in the topics covered in the BASIS course.
What you will learn
- Input data for SHADOW calculations, options for defining receptors and obstructive objects
- Evaluating SHADOW flicker results and maps for worst or statistical cases
- Defining simple curtailment strategies to minimize receptor flicker within set limits
- Creating various WTG visibility maps and ZVI inputs, including obstructive objects
- Best practices for photomontage photography
- Importance of camera calibration for accurate results
- Tips for realistic photomontages
- PHOTOMONTAGE output options (wire grids, labels, etc.)
- Animating a wind farm
