Who should attend?
The course is for windPRO users who want to learn PV plant design, energy production calculation, and perform photomontages and glare assessment.

Prerequisites
windPRO BASIS course or a good understanding of and experience in the topics covered in the BASIS course.  

What you will learn

  • How to design PV plant that utilizes the available area best in few clicks
  • Calculate the energy production using solar irradiance and PV specifications, including shading loss calculation and generation of shading map
  • Optimize the PV plant design with the objective of maximizing the NPV output
  • Setup a photomontage and simulate the visual data of the PV plant including vegetation and fences
  • Best practices for photomontage photography and camera calibration for accurate results 
  • Use Sketchup Integration to enhance the photomontage
  • Assess the environmental impact of glare (reflections of the sun’s rays by PVs) from the PV plant
