Green investments
The EMD Foundation owns EMD International A/S and is a commercial foundation with the purpose:
- To disseminate and develop knowledge and technology aimed at reducing resource use and environmental impact. This shall primarily be done by promoting the development and use of software, calculation models, calculation methods, etc., as well as advice in connection therewith.
- To support relevant projects and development activities, including non-profit research, through distribution and/or investment that furthers the purpose, however, in such a way that the future existence and development of the foundation is secured.
The EMD Foundation's board of directors consists of 11 members, of which 8 members are appointed by a number of industry organizations active within the energy sector.
