Head of Sales and Marketing

As Head of Sales and Marketing at EMD, you will be overall responsible for Sales- and Marketing towards a global market with complex technical solutions. This includes the managerial responsibility of six dedicated and experienced sales and marketing professionals.

With direct report to CEO, you will be part of the management team of EMD International. The role includes the responsibility of budgets, targets, and estimating potentials based on future strategic plans for 2024 – 2028. As Head of Sales and Marketing, you will ensure the strategic positioning of EMD International towards prioritised customers and market segments globally and through different channels (own, agents, distributors).

Your main tasks are:

  • Sales- and Marketing Management

  • Budgets, Targets and Potential

 

You have at least five years of experience leading and developing the Sales- and Marketing function in complex B2B companies with various sales channels and global presence. In addition, you have solid experience in strategic and commercial business development in B2B industries related to the Renewable Industry and/or SaaS Industries. This experience combined with an interest in and understanding technical, data-focused, and complex products and services. Ideally, you have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in commercial development, sales, and marketing, e.g., Cand. Merc. Marketing, HD-Marketing, Communication, or similar.

You are a visionary, conscious, and skilled leader with an involving and including approach. You are a strong communicator and build positive relationships. In addition, you have a solid strategic and analytical mindset and can prioritise, execute and facilitate change. To be successful, you must be a team player who reaches goals through the unison of high competencies and collaboration.
