– Offshore wind resource and yield assessment using windPRO

We will demonstrate how you can use windPRO in offshore context.

The three sessions start with some general considerations, we need to have in place when doing offshore EYA, review offshore measurement and modelling techniques. Specific focus will be on the use of floating lidars.

The second session will be dedicated to the use of mesoscale data in the offshore context, both in terms of spatial and temporal gradients. The concept of time-varying calculations will be discussed in detail.

The last session will start with a run-through of losses including blockage as well as uncertainties. We conclude with post-construction analysis.
